- What services does Elowen Pet Care offer?
- We offer professional dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and special add-ons such as puppy care, holiday visits, and longer adventure walks. We do not offer overnight boarding.
- What areas do you serve?
- We serve the Chicago west suburbs, including West Suburbs. If you're nearby, reach out and we may be able to accommodate you.
- How much does dog walking cost?
- Our dog walking rates are $25 for 20 minutes, $32 for 30 minutes, and $48 for 60 minutes. Each walk includes one-on-one attention, a water bowl refill, paws wiped as needed, and a post-walk photo update.
- What is included in a drop-in visit?
- Drop-in visits are $20 for 15 minutes, $30 for 30 minutes, or $45 for 60 minutes. Visits include feeding and fresh water, backyard potty time, medication administration, and a safety check of your home.
- How does house sitting work?
- House sitting is $95 per night, with an additional $50 per extra pet. A trained caretaker stays in your home so your dog keeps its normal routine. We also include mail and plant care, home security checks, and unlimited snuggles.
- How do you hire and train caretakers?
- Every Elowen Pet Care caretaker is trained in-house and shadowed on live visits before working solo. We also provide written care plans, backup coverage, and photo reports for every visit.
- Can you give my dog medication?
- Yes. Medication administration is included with drop-in visits and house sitting at no extra charge. Just leave clear instructions when you book.
- Do you walk dogs in groups or one-on-one?
- All dog walks are one-on-one so your dog gets our full attention and a walk paced to their energy level and comfort.
- How do I book a service?
- You can request a booking directly through our website. New clients can share their dog's details, routine, and care needs. Existing clients can check the 'I'm an existing client' box for a faster form.
- What if my plans change?
- We understand schedules shift. Contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to reschedule or adjust your booking. Cancellation policies are shared when your visit is confirmed.
- Will I get updates while I'm away?
- Yes. We send photo reports and visit notes after each walk or drop-in, and house-sitting clients receive daily summaries.
- Do you offer puppy care?
- Yes. Puppy care is available as a +$10 add-on per visit and includes extra attention, potty breaks, and basic reinforcement of your training routine.
